Fundraising Opportunities and Donor Recognition

The Challenge and the Opportunity

ESSA has established two key priority goals for the next two years:

·         Fund Development: To improve the fund development program of ESSA to replace lost government funding, and to increase the revenue base in order to be able to continue to enhance the programs of ESSA on a long-term and sustainable basis.

·         ESS Program Enhancement: With additional funds available, the priority will be to continue to fund and improve the quality, accessibility and range of ESSA programs and services.

Investment and Recognition Opportunities

The Association will work with individual supporters to identify and establish a personalized recognition program to honour their contributions. As well, as a non-profit charitable society, ESSA is able to provide tax receipts for income tax purposes.

For potential corporate partners, the established province-wide network offers excellent visibility opportunities and the opportunity to maximize investment in relation to regional markets.

ESSA is seeking special partners who see value in increasing the capacity of the provincial organization and of the community ESS volunteer teams to build best practices, to strengthen skills and knowledge, and to increase financial strength and autonomy in the face of decreasing provincial and municipal financial support and a shrinking public purse.

Donor Recognition

ESSA wishes to recognize the generous donations from the following individuals & corporations in 2009-2010:

  • Mary Fitzgerald, Bob & Joyce McLeod, Bryan Larrabee, Carmen Downey, Mary Sexsmith and an anonymous donor.
  • The RBC Bank donated generously to the Kamloops ESS Team via ESSA
  • Not to be missed, we recognize donations in kind from: Canadian Tire, Summerland Sweets, Bob & Joyce McLeod and the Northern Mobile Support Team for their generous donations to the ESS Conference Door prizes.

Your support helps in a significant way to develop and maintain ESSA programs and services.
